“Re-affirming the Purpose of Insurance in the Era of Pandemics”

WHEREAS it was noted that members of AIBK and associated stakeholders in the
direct practice of insurance brokerage are currently facing challenges brought
about by the Covid-19 pandemic

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,

1. THAT we commit to continue spearheading an all-inclusive consultative
process and collaborative partnership with all stakeholders, the public and
the government for the benefit of the entire insurance ecosystem.
2. THAT we review issues that surround our distribution model, review the
entire supply chain and aggressively embark on embracing digitization,
Innovation & Research as the way forward to transgress the pandemic.

3. THAT we encourage everyone here and their families to go for Covid-19
vaccines.

4. THAT the Kenyan Chapter of the EAIBA Constitution was launched
amalgamating broker practices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda &
Burundi.
5. THAT the EAIBA Constitution should serve as a common denominator for
insurance markets regionally.
6. THAT we shall all Netflix insurance, by innovating client centric products and
distribute regionally expanding the opportunities for insurance penetration.
7. THAT Mental Health conversations and the support required therein will be
given prominence at workplaces
